DESCRIPTION
This event consists of multiple short presentations relating to the following: apheresis, components, platelet and leukocyte antigens, RBCs, cellular therapies, transfusion practice/clinical case studies, pediatric transfusion medicine, donor/recipient medical and safety issues and transfusion-related diseases. The goal of the session is to provide access for the participants to newly developed knowledge that is not yet available in printed literature. Information presented will include original data from clinical and basic research and/or relevant unusual clinical cases. A short question-and-answer session will be held after each presentation.
