Participants will learn the methodologies involved in the identification of victims of natural disasters by DNA testing of close relatives. The topics will include discussions of sample collection, biochemical and mathematical complexities. The panel of speakers has first hand knowledge in performing victim identification using DNA testing involving various recent mass disasters.
