DESCRIPTION
Conflicts of interest may arise when we least expect them. The key to avoidance is recognition and prevention. The speakers will address the potential for conflicts of interest among blood bankers and cellular therapists from a variety of perspectives, including the interface between industry and health-care providers, the conduct of research and routine operations within the organizational structures that exist for the delivery and utilization of blood products and cell therapies. A discussion of case studies will be included in the session.
