Description
What does it mean to be gifted on the Autism Spectrum? Join four professionals as they discuss the controversy that surrounds the identification and suggested interventions for gifted students who meet the criteria for a disorder on the Autism Spectrum. These students have specific needs socially, emotionally, and educationally. Hear experts describe the strengths of these students and how to use those strengths to help compensate for weaknesses. Learn how to adapt their experiences into your teaching or counseling of gifted students who have Asperger’s syndrome or Autism.
