Description
What if a new approach to gifted education were to be formed by educators, administrators, and parents with students as the central focus and as the leaders of this new programming? The result would be a collaborative approach with gifted learners as active participants in helping to determine and direct their learning. Modules of a learner-centered approach include definitions, formal and informal identification, RtI, appropriate placement, programming, and assessment. Begin to apply this model in your schools as soon as you return home.
