Description
The Future Problem Solving Program was developed and founded by E. Paul and Pansy Torrance in 1974. Since then the program has involved many thousands of students, volunteers, affiliate directors, and executive directors. At this time there are over 40 state and international Future Problem Solving Programs as well as several mentored regions. Future Problem Solving Program International and Scholastic Testing Service, have undertaken a longitudinal study that has begun with assessment of creativity and administration of brief surveys to 5th and 6th graders. This program presents the first findings for these sites.
