Description
The Survey Toolkit is a constructivist, project-based research learning methodology for middle school students to develop surveys on topics across the curriculum including Chinese culture, Hinduism, alternative fuels, working physics, and nanotechnology. This session provides a PowerPoint presentation featuring the use of the Survey Toolkit with grade six students, along with resource manual activities and journal publication available at The Journal of Statistics Education (JSE) website. A demonstration of the integrated TinkerPlots software is also provided using NAGC participant-collected data on hours of sleep and teaching longevity.
