Description
The three researchers were recently awarded a 3-year National Science Foundation grant. This session focuses on current results of the grant project as they relate to African American male college students majoring in STEM. More specifically, a focus of this session is on the factors that most influenced these students’ choice of major and career orientation. The researchers also offer specific recommendations to parents, K-12 education professionals, and college representatives.
