Description
Schools were not built for students on the fringes. Many of these students feel isolated and may drop out, either physically or mentally. This session addresses a methodology of working with a variety of students to ensure that they are able to function well within the school context. By systematically considering all the reasons a student may not be working up to potential, the team can more effectively address individual nature of school success. The strategy focuses on such issues as mutual purpose, adapting to a students behavioral and learning style, and maintaining dignity and coherence.
