Description
In planning and delivering classroom-based instruction, the needs of advanced learners are often neglected. However, by using specific strategies and materials, professional development can be delivered that provides teachers with the knowledge and tools required to successfully plan and implement a variety of approaches and activities that engage and challenge this population.

This presentation includes a focus on tiered instruction and curriculum compacting, using vignettes, lesson plans, case studies, and curriculum planning simulations.

Participants develop numerous professional development techniques and are provided with a toolkit of activities and strategies.
