Description
In our multimedia world, how can students evolve from being members of a viewing audience to producers of original films? This session explores how the visual and performing arts techniques of film production are used to differentiate curriculum, by challenging bright, creative students to interpret and analyze a subject. Learn how students are applying film production to creative writing, literary analysis, and historical research through a collaborative effort with the American Film Institute. Participants leave this session with resource materials, technology tips, and rubrics for creating, showcasing, and assessing student films.
