Description
Educational initiatives, such as The 21st Century Skills, call for the development of intellectual capital through inventive thinking. One way of helping our gifted student population develop this important skill is to foster an educational environment that supports cross-discipline thinking. Attendees of this presentation will leave with a deeper understanding of the creative thought process, the inter-connectedness of big disciplinary themes, and the beneficial and motivating components of cross-discipline thought. Through the presentation, discussion, and design session, the participants will be given the resources and guidance needed to implement inter-disciplinary thinking processes for gifted students within the curriculum.
