Douglas Sacks is a partner at Focus Worldwide. He was formerly an international marketing consultant and worked for Infocore as head of the international marketing consulting division, ICS. Affiliations include: Board of directors of the DMA of India; executive board (director of strategic marketing) of Electronic Solutions of Pakistan; New York University – adjunct assistant professor of marketing – which presented him with its Award for Teaching Excellence. Past chairman of the USA DMA International Council’s Operating Committee, he was formerly editor of its newsletter, Hot Press. A DMI columnist and author of many articles on international marketing, he is a frequent speaker globally.
Eugene Raitt, CMO, Asia Pacific AIlied World Assurance Company
Eugene R. Raitt is chief marketing officer, Asia Pacific for Allied World Assurance Company. Before joining AWAC in 2009, Gene has held a series of increasingly responsible direct marketing related executive positions in AIG and the insurance direct marketing industry over his career, and has spent the 15+ years with AIG in Asia. Gene has been a member of the Board of Directors of the DMA since 2006, and served on the executive committee for the past couple of years. He held the chairman position of DMA from 2009 till May 2010 and is chairman of the Hong Kong DMA. Gene graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Maryland, Summa Cum Laude, and received an Executive MBA in marketing management from Columbia University, Arden School of Management. He also received an MA in Counseling Psychology as well as a PsyD (ABD) in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University.
Alex D. Font is a partner and director for Opus One Asia, a Direct Marketing Consulting company based out of Shanghai China. Alex has worked with Sprint Corporation in the U.S. and Korea as well as the Benesse Corporation in Japan and China. He currently serves as the chairman of the China DMA. Alex holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and is a certified Professional Direct Marketer, graduated with honors from Temple University Campus in Tokyo Japan.
Monica Chan is the group managing director of Datatrade, where she leads the business development team, as well as relationship management for major clients. Monica joined Datatrade in 1988 and is one of the founding members of the company where she helped to expand the business from a company size of 10 to it's current size over 150 with operation in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines. She is the executive director of the HKDMA, a member of the DMA, China DMA, HK Insatiate of Marketing and HK Call Center Association.
