Mary Teahan is the chairman of the International Federation of Direct Marketing Associations. She is the past president of the Federation of Latin American DMAs and the Argentine DMA. Mary is a permanent member of the Consultative Council to the Argentine National Data Protection Bureau. She has received 150 DM industry awards, including Cannes, Caples and ECHOs. Mary is also an academic director of graduate studies in marketing at San Andrés University.
Jodie Sangster, Vice President, Global Compliance, Direct Marketing Association, Inc.
Jodie Sangster is senior vice president of global development & education services for the Direct Marketing Association (DMA). She has previously held roles in both the UK and Australian Direct Marketing Associations. Most recently, Jodie was in-house legal counsel and chief privacy and compliance officer for Acxiom Asia Pacific. Previously she served five years as the director of legal and regulatory affairs at the Australian Direct Marketing Association. Jodie holds a law degree from Kingston University in London, a master’s degree in law from University College London, London University, and has been admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales
Eugene Raitt, CMO, Asia Pacific AIlied World Assurance Company
Eugene R. Raitt is chief marketing officer, Asia Pacific for Allied World Assurance Company. Before joining AWAC in 2009, Gene has held a series of increasingly responsible direct marketing related executive positions in AIG and the insurance direct marketing industry over his career, and has spent the 15+ years with AIG in Asia. Gene has been a member of the Board of Directors of the DMA since 2006, and served on the executive committee for the past couple of years. He held the chairman position of DMA from 2009 till May 2010 and is chairman of the Hong Kong DMA. Gene graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Maryland, Summa Cum Laude, and received an Executive MBA in marketing management from Columbia University, Arden School of Management. He also received an MA in Counseling Psychology as well as a PsyD (ABD) in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University.
Ian Hughes has worked in the marketing and communications industry for 16 years, starting at
Marks and Spencer before becoming chief marketing officer at MM Group. He then founded eCharity.com in the US and launched Consumer Intelligence in the UK. He is passionate about understanding why consumers buy certain financial services products. A Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing, Hughes has a business degree, a postgraduate diploma in direct marketing and has completed the Harvard Business Schools Program for management development. He is a columnist for DMI magazine and Harvard Business Bulletin.
Rob Edwards has been the chief executive officer of ADMA for the past 15 years. Prior to joining ADMA, Rob held senior marketing and management roles in K’Tel, O’Brien Glass, he was General Manager- Marketing at Pacific Aviation, an Ansett subsidiary and Managing Director of Key Direct Response. He served several years on the ADMA Board with a term as vice chairman . Rob’s work is well regarded internationally with him being elected as president of the International Federation of Direct Marketing Associations for a four year period that ended in 2006.
