Since joining the company in 2001 Steve has held various roles at Brookstone including Customer Analytics Director and Marketing Director. Today, as Operational Vice President of Customer Marketing, he oversees all external internet marketing programs, catalog circulation planning and the company’s database marketing group. Prior to joining Brookstone, Steve was Director of Circulation at Staples, a leading office supply retailer, where he spent six years in various marketing roles.

Stacey Hawes is Senior Vice President, Multi-channel Market Group for Abacus where she champions the development and implementation of strategies to grow Abacus’ Cooperative offerings and client relationships. Previously, Stacey lead Abacus’ B-to-B division to unprecendented levels in growth and customer satisfaction.Prior to joining Abacus, Stacey was a telecommunications and energy consultant and held leadership positions at LG&E Energy.She received her BS in Business Economics and MBA from the University of Louisville.

Linda began her career in Direct Marketing at Walter Karl, Inc. in the early 1980’s. There she pioneered Proprietary Promotional Databases and Hotline Marketing techniques and achieved the level of Vice President. In 1992 she joined SpeciaLISTS, now Specialists Marketing Services, as President of her own Brokerage Division which she maintained for ten years. In 2002 she joined Direct Media, Inc. as Executive Vice President. She continues to maintain her own accounts and works with the Corporate Executive Team to support the broad client base at Direct Media, Inc.

Mary Ann Kleinfelter is the Director of Marketing at L-com, a business-to-business multichannel marketer of connectivity products in North Andover, Massachusetts. Mary Ann has more than 20 years of business-to-business and consumer multichannel marketing experience, working with such firms as Carus Publishing, Abacus/Doubleclick, Sylvan Learning Center, Delta Education, PaperDirect, Daytimers, and the Drawing Board.

Kris Snyder has 35 years experience in the direct marketing industry having held key marketing positions in three catalog companies, three service firms and one sweepstakes organization. Her experience includes circulation planning and analysis, list management, list brokerage, database segmentation, merge/purge processing and facilitation of direct marketing training workshops.

Then, we'll turn the floor over to you and you can try to stump the vendors and the mailers! Attendees will be encouraged to submit questions to the panel and then vote on who did the
