consumers in the marketing process, and the new empowered consumer is taking the initiative. On any given day in the U.S., there are almost 2 billion website visits, 200 million inbound calls and 600 million retail visits. This is a total of 2.8 billion consumer initiatives per day. Twice the number of television programs viewed in a day!
