Environmental Services is involved in almost all of the
Environment of Care® (EC®) Standards reviewed during a JCAHO survey. In addition, Environmental Services staff are
on the front-line for providing 'staff knowledge' during the
'tracers' and 'tours' conducted by the surveyors. This presentation will identify the impact of these EC® areas on Environmental Services professionals and provide information for maintaining continuous readiness for the
unannounced survey.
