What happens once the waste leaves your facility? Participants of this session will define medical waste, identify and discuss potential hazards involving prohibited waste delivered from large quantity medical waste generators to landfill, outline enforcement efforts, and construct a preventative policy to reduce the frequency of incidents while protecting staff in the hospital and landfill staff.
