All of us in Healthcare have heard of the National Patient Safety Goals. What does it mean for me as a frontline worker? In this workshop we will briefly look at where the patient safety goals came from and then translate how they impact transport folks. Lynne Route, daVinci Consulting, will lead us in an exploration of the Joint Commission intent and take a look at how to make the National Patient Safety Goals more fun and easy to recognize in daily practice. By the end of this workshop participants will be able to present the National Patient Safety Goals to their staff in an easy to understand manner and link the goals directly to their practice.
