Description
This session will provide updates on status of the emerging Patient Transportation Management Certification program as well as what's new for the Certified Healthcare Transportation Certification program. A panel of NAHTM Level I Instructors, who have successfully delivered the curriculum for certification to their respective Patient Transport staff, will relate their experiences, offer tips and answer questions for anyone who is considering delivering the curriculum to their own staff. By the end of this workshop participants will identify benefits of certifying Patient Transport staff, list steps necessary to achieve certification, and identify benefits of Management Certification for Patient Transport Managers.
