Hospital-acquired infections are presenting many challenges in hospitals and environmental services is at the forefront of its elimination from the facility. Participants will review the key components of HAI, identify common surface disinfection practices and chemicals, define the role of EVS in the fight against HAI, and demonstrate various substances and delivery systems designed to eliminate organisms that cause HAIs.
