Environmental Services is involved in almost all of the Environment of Care® (EC®) Standards reviewed during a JC survey. In addition, Environmental Services staff are on the frontline for providing staff knowledge during the tracers and tours conducted by the surveyors. This presentation will identify the impact of these EC® areas on Environmental Services professionals and provide information for maintaining continuous readiness for an unannounced survey.
